This beautiful 2011,T2 Danbury Rio, is known by us as ‘Wixie’. She was one of the last Kombis made by Volkswagen in Brazil and was converted into a camper van by Danbury in the UK. A dream to own, this camper has only had 2 owners.

With Sage-Green and Candy-White paintwork, Wixie gets compliments everywhere she goes. RHD, Fox 1.4 petrol engine, manual transmission, 4 speed gearbox, ULEZ compliant, water cooled, unleaded petrol, low mileage (39000 miles), a stainless steel exhaust system, chrome bumpers and hub caps. The spare wheel is mounted on the rear and Wixie also has a vintage style roof rack providing extra luggage space.

There are 4 seats all with 3 point seat belts.The upholstery is a soft, green check fabric which is lovely to sit/sleep on compared to vinyl. The back seat transforms using the rock ‘n’ roll system into a comfortable double bed. The Pop-Top roof has a sturdy bed board and an opening roof light, there is included a mattress which creates a 2nd comfortable sleeping space up there, suitable for 1 adult or 2 children. The side and back windows have matching, blackout-lined green and white polka dot curtains and there is a detachable, thermal blind for the windscreen.

There is plenty of storage inside with full length cupboards, pockets on the back of the front seats and a useful custom made freestanding (removable) unit between the front seats, this has cupholders on top for that essential driver’s coffee! A buddy seat provides more storage and converts into a bench seat so that 4 can sit around the removable pedestal table (which stows away behind the front passenger seat). There is also a compressor fridge, sink with pumped water, grill, double hob and a gas bottle.

With modern electrics there are spotlights, reading light, 240v hook up with plug sockets, hook-up lead, leisure battery, 2 speed front heater and independent rear Webasto heating system, Bluetooth/CD/Radio with 4 speakers.
