1974 Left-Hand Drive T2 VW Campervan

This is ‘Bettina’, a beloved 1974 left-hand drive T2 VW campervan. Imported from Germany and registered in the UK in March 2007, fully restored and refurbished with authentic two-tone paint work and in the iconic Westfalia orange plaid furnishings. This was all undertaken by Steve Nolan of VW Wolfberg, based in Bolton UK.

Power steering, gas struts and tow bar are great additions that make this a practical but beautifully original and authentic vintage VW camper.

Tax and MOT exempt, Bettina has been serviced every year and currently MOT’d until May 5th, 2024. She has been well maintained and repaired as needed over the years and there is a folder of paperwork to support this work.

The odometer was reset after an engine rebuild during restoration and now has 49,000 kms on the clock, covered over the last 16 years. For the last 4 years all servicing and work has been carried out by us at the VW Camper Company and is kept garaged from October to April every year.

The Westfalia design offers generous space for storage of food and personal belongings and extra storage space when the top is popped. The interior comes with the original swivel table and plaid footstool and a new orange roof canvas was fitted two years ago.

A compact sink, gas hob and fridge allow you to stay in bed to make your morning cuppa and enjoy the sun pouring in through the rolled back door and windows. A great way to start the day.

In addition, Betinna comes with a ‘bus stop’ side awning complete with poles and fittings to attach to the van.

Presented in great overall condition, with only the expected light sign of age.

The previous owner has enjoyed 16 fantastic years with her adventuring to France, but mostly enjoying all the beauty, walking and cycling that the UK offers. Ready  to set off on holiday; the simplicity, getting away from it all, leaving the mod cons behind, being close to nature, a little bit of adventure and lots of chilling out. Magic!
